Competition squad

Tumbling is one of the most exciting and spectacular disciplines in gymnastics. It combines explosive speed, rhythm, spatial awareness, coordination, power, and strength into high-energy performances.

Athletes compete on a 25-metre specialised tumbling track, linking dynamic skills such as round-offs, flicks, whips, and powerful somersaults. In competition, gymnasts perform passes consisting of eight elements. These are judged on difficulty — based on single, double, or triple somersaults performed in tucked, piked, or straight shapes, with or without twists — and execution, which includes speed, technique, height, and precision.

Flip & Twist Tumble squads are invitational only. Our structured developmental pathway supports gymnasts from age 5 through to adulthood, guiding them from their first steps in the sport all the way to national and international competition.

Years 1, 2 & 3

In addition to a weekly Recreational session, we offer an invitational advanced session for children with the talent and desire to step onto the competitive pathway.
