Back in 2000, when Paul’s family decided that the Stonehouse area and its young people could benefit from a professionally run gymnastics centre.

Little did they know that the small club they started would grow into the thriving, successful organisation it is today. Thousands of children have passed through its doors in Gloucestershire, many of whom have gone on to compete on the international stage. It all began at the local primary school, Flip & Twist now training in Stonehouse, with training sessions and competitions later taking place at the area’s main leisure centres.

In those early days, the club focused on acrobatic gymnastics. Its gymnasts quickly made their mark in South West competitions and soon began dominating regionally.

Standards rose rapidly.
